my creative space...

Something for me this week.
After scoring a heap of crochet hooks at the local trash & treasure market (for 50c each!), I decided it was high time to sort myself out with a hook roll.
As I didn't have any suitable interfacing in my stash, I decided to use a scrap of wool batting. This has made it nice & chunky... & if I so choose to have a nap half way through a project... it shall do just the trick.
It is also incredibly wonky. I don't know quite how it got to be this way, as for the first time ever I used the quilting guide on my machine. Hmm, oh well.
I've also found the perfect project for these sweet little fat quarters. It's nice when spotlight has something cute.

    Great hook roll - I have an old plastic one that was mums that is on its last legs. I might have to follow your lead.

    I have two of those Spotlight fabrics too!

    Love the roll! Mine stays with each new piece I am working on and stops me from having to get up and get stitch markers of scissors etc. while I am happily sitting and stitching. :)

    heehee spotty has some cute fabrics at the mo, i have some of them too! Great hook roll, i have to do a jewellry one for my stepmum, you're a good inspiration!
    Hope you're not too uncomfortable, and hanging in there. Not many days left of just the 2 of you :)

    I need one of those for my rapidly growing collection of knitting needles.

    But I can't sew for ****. Hmmm.

    Perhaps the sewing course plan should get accelerated. :)
