Our dear little man came into the world on monday night.
We've been slowly settling in and getting to know each other.
We had asked him to wait until all the house moving and cleaning was finished and to please allow his mama a few extra days for rest. The 28th would be a most perfect day to arrive, we told him. And so he obliged, what a darling.
He came so quickly, just 45 minutes after arriving at the hospital.
Let me just say that the south gippsland highway is not a road to drive while in strong labour!
I'm feeling quite well, however I'm still adjusting to waking in the dark of the night.
Thank you to all the sweet folk who have checked in on me.
