Today we had a visitor, so in true country fashion I made scones. They were yummo. I may have had a few too many. I used a Woman's Weekly recipe, good thinking. The end results were light & fluffy & tasty. I wonder how many times over the years, this recipe has been made. Amazing.
It hasn't all just been about the scones. Bread has been baked, floors have been swept, dishes washed, clothes washed... all in all a wonderful pottering sunday.
I even saw the sun today; our moment was brief, but blissful. Thanks for your comments yesterday. It's nice to know I'm not the only one going crazy.
I hope your sunday has been just lovely.

Your scones look delicious, perfect food for not so warm weather. I dont think I have had a spring this cold before! Hoping you get a lot more warm weather so your skin can clear up too, it must be rather uncomfortable getting that from the cold, not to mention not really wanting to go outside to enjoy your beautiful scenery!
since moving to Australia i have really grown to love scones with cream, these look great. glad you got a glimpse of the sun!
OH Yum! Your scone looks sooo good. xo
Scones are an all time winner in my books. There is nothing, nothing finer than an afternoon of scones with jam and cream. I can't make them to save myself, my nemesis...scones.
Hope the warmer weather wanders down your way....
Ok so now I HAVE to make scones..yours look so delicious. I use the recipe on the back of the red & white flour pack, it always works! Hope you have a happy week xo
