Now, I'm not really one for heels. Although I do love the shape they give to my usually shapeless calves, I also love the ability to tower over people, & I love the fact that they make my legs look 2 metres high... but apart from that, I prefer flats.
I bought these shoes last march to wear to a fashion parade, I had a new dress and no shoes to match it so I ran around town frantically searching for the perfect pair. They are Robert Robert and have a 12cm heel! So that night I met my friend in town at 5pm, we went for drinks... and then dinner... and then to the parade... and then to cookie... and then to the supper club... and then home at 5am. So the basis of this story is that I got very happily drunk and traipsed around town for 12 hours in 12cm heels. I had a fantastic night and I don't think my feet were too sore the next day, mind you I haven't worn them since. But they are beautiful aren't they.
And here as requested by our wonderful host, is my flashback friday photo pre 1985.
This is me and my dog coco. I was a fat fat baby, I weighed 8 pound 3 when I came out and then just packed it on. I was a very happy baby, although this photo doesn't quite do my smile justice. Just think of me as a little buddha, rub my head if you like... it's good luck.
Thanks Angela for being our hostess with the mostess & hip hop & banana bread for the theme.

Beautiful shoes! But 12 cm!? That's quite a heel!
oooh they are so fine! Delicate and pretty - I admire your agility to stay upright in them on such an eventful night. They must be magical...you must take them out again :)
Those are great shoes, I dont think I would even make it outside with those on. 12Cm...way to high for me. Ah, and you were a cute baby buddah.
Cheers
Classy shoes, and a very flattering colour.
Love the retro rocker. The only ones I have seen from our era are the crochet covered ones. Yours is like the Rolls Royce of rockers.
