from where I sit...

I seem to have only two modes at the moment, absolute non-stop running around or sitting doing not much at all.
The weekend was spent uptown & boy it was crazy. I really don't know how I fit so much in. On friday I managed to go to the Amitie sale, have lunch in town at my old workplace, get my haircut by this lady's great man, go shopping for some clothes that fit & have dinner at an old haunt in chinatown. Phew! Let me just say, I was exhausted. I went back to the rellies house & fell asleep. Saturday was a bit simpler; lunch with an old uni friend, a nap on the couch & then dinner with fourteen of my best mates. It was so lovely seeing all my favourite faces. Sunday was another great rush about, I can't even remember everything we fit in. By the time we arrived home, we were absolutely stonkered!
Monday & Tuesday were spent recovering & catching up on sleep. I've only just had the stamina today to get anything done.
I did get in alot of sitting about on Monday.

I minded the girls outside in the sun. They were quite interested in the fan tails flying above them.
While Samuel put a new door & filled in some holes on their new house. They're five weeks old now & have enough proper feathers to live outside.
I do promise that I have been quite crafty of late. I've started one of the baby quilts & a ripple blanket, I'm almost done on the nappies, a nursing pillow just needs some more stuffing & the amigurumi zoo animals are multiplying. I've got proof too... I'll show you some tomorrow.

I agree with the 'lovely belly' sentiment!
Also, it was lovely to meet you (if briefly) on Friday. Did you score much stash?
Andi :-)

Sounds like it was a very busy week-end but good busy - which I always think is a good one. Hope you are enjoying your Amitie purchases - I have already started with mine
