two months & two cardi's...

Today I finished Huckle's cardi, I'm so impressed. This is the first major piece of clothing I have crocheted. Scarves, Beanies & wristwarmers, although wonderful... are a bit easy. This was surprisingly easy too. After the first 10 rows I decided to just wing it, as I have a terrible habit of doing. My personality never allows me to follow a pattern, I get bored. Luckily, I haven't had any real disaters from this.
I'm yet to attach some buttons & yes, it does fit over his bulging belly.

Another great little cardi, made by his great grandma Clare. She whipped this up when she found out I was pregnant & he's just grown into it. How good are her skills... she's in her nineties. This photo shall be in the post for her to put on her mantle.
These photos are going into his monthly series. You can find his one month photo here.
The wee man was two months last thursday, but he's just been so busy eating & sleeping we've only just managed to squeeze in a photo shoot today.

Oh, little sweetie! Happy second month in the world and in your Mamas arms.

Your cardigan turned out so much better than mine! I think mine is a craft crime!

It's so exciting when you go from "...weeks old" to "...months old". You'll blink and it'll be"...years old" !!!

Huckle's cardigan looks wonderful, I wish I could crochet. Your nan's cardigan looks wonderful too - I am sure they can knit with their eyes closed by that age!

Love the cardi, especially the colour. You are very clever to just wing it on your first cardi pattern! Must be a hooking natural! And looking at the other lovely cardi from his great grandma it obviously does run in the family.

Hasn't two months gone super quickly?!
