knitting malfuntions...

I was trying to knit something really pretty & fancy for Jodie's spring washer swap. But my head & hands had a faulty connection & the pretty, fancy washer was pulled apart one too many times. It's exactly where I left it, crumpled up in it's curliness. I love the way yarn goes curly when you pull a project apart, like it's just had rollers in. I guess it's my way of seeing the beauty in something, after I'd pulled it all apart cussing & swearing like a sailor. So frustrating!
Instead of pushing through my issues, I decided to substitute one that I had prepared earlier. It's not as pretty or fancy as the one who didn't make it, but it's still pretty fancy in my books. A lovely check pattern & organic cotton, so soft. I do hope my swap partner likes it.
It shall be posted tomorrow, with a bar of honey, oatmeal & chamomile soap that I made last week. More on that later.
Have you entered my giveaway yet? You'll have your knickers in a knot if you miss the chance of winning 12 vintage sheet fat quarters. Go on.

Oh I hate when something doesn't work out. I've been having a bit of that over here. total bear head obsessing and restitching noses too many times.
Love the way you see the beauty in it too, me I just get driven nuts.
YOur swap partner is going to be thrilled. Your wash cloth is divine. xo

Your dishcloth looks so nice and I am sure your swappee will love it. The soap sounds wonderful, and how clever of you being able to make it yourself.

Hi Kitty, I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful washcloth - I REALLY like it!! I love the basketweave pattern and that it's made from eco-cotton and that it's so soft! Thanks also for the soap and the seeds - I didn't realise you made the soap yourself until I saw this post! Soap making is something I'd like to start experimenting with, so I can't wait to try it out :-)
